The Sorrento is based on a Toyota Hiace Long Wheel Base and has a pop-top roof.
The Sorrento is powerful, easy to drive and can navigate around city streets. Rear windows are tinted.
Sorrento with Pop-top Down.
The Sorrento is quite spacious inside for a small campervan. The windows and door let in fresh air and give you a practically uninterrupted view.
The kitchen features a 2-burner spirit stove, stainless steel sink, 64L 2-way fridge and a microwave.
The stove is on a bracket which can swing outside. This is great for avoiding cooking fumes in your van and also means you can cook inside
in bad weather or late at night.
The sink is stainless steel with a fixed drainer.
The fridge is a 64L two-way, which means it operates on 240v power or battery. It is very efficient and easy to keep clean. There is
a small freezer compartment within the fridge.
Next to the sink is some hanging space and an area where the table can be stored when not in use.
There are huge storage areas under both seats. On the left, you can see the deep cycle battery, which is a fully sealed, maintenance-free,
gel battery. It is designed to be charged and drained.
A small pull-out shower is fitted at the rear and can be used for outside showers.
The table and seats make into a HUGE bed or can be used as two narrow singles.
The pop-top is secured using four heavy duty straps and buckles. These are mounted only on the inside of the pop-top.
The table is removable and can be used outside (with an additional foot) or be stowed away behind the driver's seat.
An awning is a great optional extra. It is easy to use and the legs can be either connected to the vehicle or stand on the ground.
Both examples are pictured here.
The optional awning winds into its own case, protecting it from damage and the sun. This also means valuable storage space is not used inside
the campervan to store it.
An Oz Tent has been fitted to the Sorrento. Visit
