The Southern Cross is based on a Ford Transit. It is rear wheel drive and has rear dual wheels. The motorhome's low-line
and compact design makes it easy to drive and reverse.
The Southern Cross is open-plan, with huge windows and vents. The bathroom is in the far right corner with a hand basin outside the shower area.
This motorhome is light and airy. The windows and vents have an integrated, thermal-insulation blind and screen system.
There is hanging space in the cupboard on the right.
The cabin seats swivel, opening up the floor plan even further. The driver's seat and one fixed forward-facing seat
are used to sit at the table.
The stainless steel sink holds a bucket, bench drainer, chopping board and wire drainer. The cooktop is a gas 3-burner.
The kitchen features a 3-burner cooktop with glass lid; stainless steel sink system with glass lid; 3-way 90L fridge with freezer;
microwave and ranghood exhaust.
The rear double bed has storage underneath accessed from the inside and outside of the motorhome. Two reading lights are at the head-end
and the mattress is made from high density foam.
The bathroom has a cassette toilet and hot water shower. A 12 volt exhaust fan is fitted in the ceiling and
there is a small hand basin just outside the shower area.
